Description
Light up for liberty annual smoke-in, Washington, D.C. July 4th, 1979, this was. Can you believe this? This was the first time Washington ever saw young people marching around, smoking their brains out, and it wasn’t nicotine cigarettes. And again, we used Hippo’s iconic peace ‘reath to surround the Capitol Building, but we softened it with a rainbow, and the “Acapulco Gold” brick road, which leads to the smoke-in.
